The Dutch city of Apeldoorn will host the Para Track Cycling World Championships from 29 October to 1 November. Around 240 riders from 46 countries are expected at the Omnisport velodrome. The four-day event includes sprint and endurance racing, with both individual and team competitions.

The competition is shaped by its sport classes as well as speed. Riders in the C class use standard bicycles, sometimes with small technical adaptations. In the B class, athletes with a visual impairment ride a tandem with a sighted pilot. Spectators can therefore watch both individual racing skill and the close coordination needed on a tandem.

The championships will also have a local connection: the entry list includes Andre Wijnhoud from nearby Ugchelen. Spectator sessions are scheduled across all four days. The dates and venue are confirmed, while the timings of individual races may still change.
