Bajaj Mobility AG, home to the KTM, Husqvarna Motorcycles and GASGAS motorcycle brands, sold 89,004 motorcycles outside India in the first half of 2026. In the company’s published results, that is 91.9% more than in the corresponding period a year earlier. Second-quarter sales alone reached 48,672 motorcycles, compared with 28,471 in the second quarter of 2025.
Those figures cover the company’s sales across multiple markets, not Europe alone. Strategic partner Bajaj Auto sold another 58,568 motorcycles in India; including those, the group reported a worldwide total of 147,572. Revenue from its motorcycle business was €579.6 million for the half year. The year-on-year comparison shows a marked recovery following restructuring, but six months of data cannot establish how demand will develop through the rest of the year.
The group also reported progress on inventory: combined motorcycle stocks held by the company and its dealers worldwide fell by 10,190 units since the start of the year. That matters when assessing sales growth, because rising shipments alongside growing unsold stock would tell a different story. The half-year figures point to firmer operations after a difficult period; later quarters will show how durable the pace proves to be.
