On 17 June 2026, Brembo and Ningbo SAFE Brakes Systems announced BRSF Active Safety Solutions for motorcycle ABS production in India. Brembo would hold 60%, with assembly planned in Chakan near Pune. At announcement, closing remained subject to regulatory approvals.
The group’s manufacturing network already covers several motorcycle brake components. Pune and Chennai produce Bybre systems, while Rayong in Thailand manufactures motorcycle brakes. In Spain, J.Juan develops and makes hydraulic hoses and control cables; SBS Friction in Svendborg, Denmark, focuses on brake pads. Bybre serves small and medium motorcycles and scooters.
