Daniela Guillén arrived at the final round of the 2026 Women’s Motocross World Championship in Darwin just six points ahead of Kiara Fontanesi. The title was still open, but the Spanish rider won both races at the finale to secure her first world championship.
Guillén took the lead during the opening lap of the first race. In the second, she started behind the leaders, worked her way forward and moved into first place on lap nine. She also set the fastest lap in both races, extending her final championship margin to 24 points.
The title capped a season of five race wins, three overall Grand Prix victories and a top-three finish in every one of the ten races. Her Darwin performance showed the speed behind the result; her consistency across the season made it possible.
