On 17 September, Ducati presented the Desmo450 SM, a competition supermoto based on the Desmo450 MX. The manufacturer plans deliveries to selected European dealers from December 2026.
Its 449.6 cc single-cylinder engine produces 46.7 kW, while weight without fuel is 109 kg. Equipment includes traction and engine-brake control, two riding modes and clutchless upshifts.

The 16.5-inch front wheel and racing slicks make its track purpose clear. The interesting direction is the platform itself: a motocross foundation moves into another discipline, with brakes and suspension adapted along the way.
