On 23 September 2026, Dunlop and Endurance Moto Promoter announced a three-year partnership extension. Dunlop will remain the sole tyre supplier to the FIM EWC Superstock and Production classes until the end of the 2029 season.
Both classes will continue using KR slick tyres. Formula EWC remains open to competing tyre manufacturers.
The announcement also provides context for the brand’s business structure. On 7 May 2025, Sumitomo Rubber Industries completed its acquisition from Goodyear of Dunlop trademark and other rights for four-wheel vehicle tyres in Europe, North America and Oceania.
Goodyear’s transaction documents separately retained Dunlop trademark rights for motorcycle tyres in Europe and Oceania. News of the brand sale therefore should not be read as a transfer of all Dunlop motorcycle tyre operations to another company. Vehicle category and market matter here.
