The next Fahrrad Essen takes place in Essen, Germany, from 25 to 28 February 2027. Visitor opening hours are 10:00 to 18:00 each day. It runs alongside Reise + Camping, allowing visitors to explore bicycles and holiday options during the same visit.
For 2027, the Fahrrad + Reisen section in Hall 5 is being expanded. It brings together destinations, hotels, tour operators and camping offers, giving cycle holiday planning a more prominent place at the fair.
The exhibition focuses on e-bikes and urban cycling, including city and cargo bikes. Riding courses allow visitors to try different models. They offer a chance to compare riding position and handling, qualities that a specification table alone cannot reveal.
If your aim is to plan next summer’s cycling holiday, bring a short list of questions: what surfaces does the route use, how will you transport your bicycle, and where can you store it securely overnight?
