Goodwood Revival, running from 18 to 20 September, honours Barry Sheene half a century after his first world championship title. Significant motorcycles from his career are part of the programme. Sheene won the 500 cc crown in 1976 and 1977.

The Barry Sheene Memorial Trophy pairs two riders on each motorcycle. Its 25-minute races feature a Le Mans-style start, with competitors running to their machines. The first part is scheduled for Saturday and the second for Sunday; the announced field includes Troy Bayliss and Davey Todd.

The two-wheel theme extends beyond racing: the track-opening parade celebrates Vespa’s 80th anniversary, with more than 300 scooters built before 1967 expected. The weekend brings competition machinery together with the history of everyday mobility.
