Honda has unveiled the fully redesigned 2027 CRF1150L Africa Twin family at EICMA in Milan. A 1,131 cc parallel-twin engine replaces the previous CRF1100L unit, alongside a revised frame and a lower-mounted portion of the fuel tank. For riders, the bigger decision is which of the three distinct versions fits the intended use.
The standard Africa Twin aims to balance road travel and off-road riding. Adventure Sports leans further toward long-distance touring, with a 24-litre fuel tank and a 19-inch front wheel. Its dual-clutch version can also be specified with Honda SENSING RIDE rider assistance.
The new Enduro Sports shifts the emphasis toward unpaved terrain. Its front suspension and styling draw on Honda’s rally-bike experience. The range now separates three uses more clearly: an all-rounder, a distance-focused tourer and a more dedicated off-road option, rather than treating one configuration as the answer for every rider.
