A rider’s eyes belong on the road. Honda RoadSync is an app that connects a compatible motorcycle and smartphone by Bluetooth. Selected phone functions can be operated through the bike’s handlebar switches, while compatible models with a TFT display also show turn-by-turn directions on the instruments.

The system offers navigation, calls, messages, music and weather information. Voice guidance and voice input require a riding headset with a microphone. The available functions differ by phone operating system; for example, voice input is more limited on an iPhone than on an Android device.

Before using it, riders should confirm both motorcycle and country compatibility and complete setup while stopped. Honda says it does not offer a retrofit for an incompatible model. RoadSync reduces the need to touch a phone while riding, but directions never replace attention to traffic.
