On Estonia’s northern coast, limestone escarpments alternate with forests, fishing villages and waterfalls. A journey along the Klint Road starts in Tallinn, runs east through Lahemaa National Park towards Alutaguse and returns to the capital. The tourism site describes the overall loop as roughly 500 kilometres and says it can also be explored by bicycle.

Early stops can include Jägala Waterfall and the coastal village of Käsmu. Farther east, the Ontika cliff and Valaste Waterfall stand out. These stops offer a change of pace: leave the bicycle and take a short walk to experience the landscape close up.

Cyclists should allow several days for the full journey and plan each stage around their own fitness. Coastal viewpoints, park trails and connecting roads do not form one continuous cycle path; check the surface and access to attractions before setting out.
