The next INTERMOT in Cologne will take place on 19–21 February 2027. The previously planned 12–14 February weekend has been moved back by one week to reduce clashes with other motorcycle exhibitions. That is an important correction for anyone already comparing travel dates.
The shift to February also reflects a broader change in direction. Organisers want manufacturers, dealers and riders to meet before the riding season begins. The concept extends beyond new motorcycles to clothing, accessories and travel: a chance to explore what might be useful on the next ride, all in one place.
The venue is the Koelnmesse exhibition grounds in Cologne-Deutz. Visitor opening hours are scheduled for 09:00–18:00 local time each day, with admission open to both trade visitors and the public. Alongside vehicles, the exhibition covers workshop equipment, riding clothing and motorcycle tourism.
For a trip from Latvia, prepare a short list of things to examine: riding position, luggage options or a particular type of equipment. That gives the visit a purpose beyond walking past stands. Recheck the organiser’s current information before booking non-refundable transport or accommodation; attending the exhibition does not by itself guarantee an on-road demonstration ride.
