Cologne’s INTERMOT motorcycle show is moving on the calendar: its next edition is scheduled for 19 to 21 February 2027. The organisers want it to become an early-season meeting place where manufacturers, dealers and riders can explore motorcycles and scooters, gear and accessories together. Previous editions took place late in the year; moving to February changes when visitors can compare the range in person.
The plan spans four halls with powered two-wheelers, parts, clothing, travel offers and technology. The show will be open to both trade visitors and the public. Current visitor hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. For prospective buyers, that creates a chance to inspect several kinds of motorcycle in one visit and compare how different models feel from the saddle.
For the industry, an earlier date offers a direct conversation with customers as the new season approaches. Riders can look beyond the bikes themselves and compare helmets, clothing and touring equipment. The detailed event programme is still being prepared, so specific model premieres should not yet be treated as confirmed.
