Kawasaki has announced a six-year manufacturer warranty for new road motorcycles bought from its authorised dealers in Europe. The previous term was four years, so the new period is 50 percent longer. The cover is for manufacturing defects, and the company says it applies both to incoming 2027 models and to new motorcycles already in European dealer stock that have not yet been warranty registered.
The change will not arrive in every market on the same day. Kawasaki’s European branches are rolling out the scheme from early November through to the beginning of 2027. That makes it important for a buyer to ask the dealer whether a particular motorcycle is already covered by the six-year term and when that term starts. The announcement concerns new, road-registered machines from authorised dealers; it should not be read as a blanket promise for every Kawasaki motorcycle in every sales setting.
A longer period may matter to riders planning to keep a motorcycle for several seasons, but the number of years is only part of the purchase decision. Before signing, buyers can read the local warranty terms, check service requirements and obtain written confirmation of the cover for the specific machine. Kawasaki’s announcement describes a Europe-wide direction, while the practical details need to be confirmed with the relevant authorised dealer.
