Historic Ķemeri can be explored from a bicycle as well as on foot. The roughly eight-kilometre loop starts at the Forest House, runs through Ķemeri Park and returns to its starting point. Riders can also begin at Ķemeri railway station. The described circuit is paved throughout, making it a ride for pauses and observation rather than speed.
Beyond the park, the route uses Karogu, Robežu, Tukuma, Brocēnu, E. Dārziņa, Sēravotu and Tūristu streets. This part of town is tied to the history of the Ķemeri resort, whose beginnings are dated to 1838. The historic district has protected urban heritage status; the compact distance leaves time to look around without committing to a long ride.
The route has no on-site waymarks, so a map showing the street sequence is useful before setting off. It is described as easy and suitable year-round, although autumn leaves can make the pavement damp and daylight ends earlier. Ķemeri railway station offers another practical starting point for those arriving by train, with the loop finishing where it began.
