After its redesign, the Moto Guzzi museum in Mandello del Lario brings a historical collection together with views of the place where motorcycles are still made. More than 160 restored machines are on display, from the early G.P. prototype to contemporary models. A visit can therefore trace changes in both engineering and visual design.

The galleries are organised by theme rather than simply by model year. They place the motorcycles alongside shifts in design, society and the way people travel. The site also houses the company’s historical archive, with projects, photographs, drawings and documents.

A distinctive feature is the connection to the working factory: visitors can look from the galleries onto new assembly lines. Moto Guzzi offers a separate free factory visit or a ticket combining the factory and museum. Check opening hours and booking arrangements for the intended day before travelling.
