MotoGP engines will be heard at Circuit of The Americas in Austin during the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix weekend. Four premier-class motorcycles are scheduled for demonstration laps on Saturday, 24 October. This is not a joint championship round or a race between cars and bikes. The motorcycles have their own short slot on the programme ahead of Formula 1’s third free-practice session.
Dani Pedrosa is due to ride a KTM, Nicolo Bulega a Ducati, Andrea Dovizioso a Yamaha, and Lorenzo Savadori will complete the four-rider line-up. MotoGP lists the track demonstration for 11:40 a.m. to noon Austin time. The four motorcycles will also be displayed in the circuit’s fan zone over the weekend. For spectators, the pairing offers a chance to experience two top-level motorsport disciplines at one venue while their competitive programmes remain separate.
The MotoGP World Championship is racing in Australia on the same weekend, so the Austin appearance is a showcase for fans rather than a championship contest. The line-up brings together former Grand Prix champion Pedrosa, WorldSBK champion Bulega and two experienced MotoGP development riders. Motorcycle Grand Prix racing is scheduled to return to Circuit of The Americas in April 2027. For now, the attraction is the rare opportunity to see and hear MotoGP machinery in front of a Formula 1 audience.
