The 2026 UCI Gravel World Championships will take place in Nannup, Western Australia, on 10–11 October. This will be the first edition held outside Europe. The surrounding forests and rural roads are already familiar to riders in the SEVEN gravel race.
The organiser’s provisional plan, updated on 21 August, sets 144 km for elite men and 125.6 km for elite women. At least 80% of each course is gravel. Closely spaced climbs leave little recovery time, making the rhythm of the terrain as significant as the distance. Routes remain subject to change before race weekend.
The road to the championships runs through the UCI qualifying series, whose announced 2026 calendar comprises 47 events in 32 countries. The top 25% in each age group qualify. Alongside the elite title contests, this format also gives amateur competitors a pathway to the world championships.
