On the standard SRAM AXS charger, amber means charging and green means finished. A full charge takes up to an hour. A USB power adapter must supply at least 1 A at 5 V.
Before washing, remove the derailleur battery and fit the red battery block. Avoid directing a strong water jet at seals and joints. Use soapy water or bicycle wash, rinse and let the components dry. Then lubricate the chain; the derailleur’s sealed pivots need no additional lubrication.
For two or three months or more without riding, SRAM recommends removing derailleur batteries and storing them fully charged. Fit the battery terminal covers and derailleur blocks. CR2032 cells in the controllers can stay installed. Recharge the removable batteries before riding again, as some discharge during storage is normal.
Remove batteries for longer journeys, too: movement wakes the AXS system and consumes power. Bring the blocks and terminal covers along.
