The Suiti cycling route covers 56 kilometres between Kuldīga and Alsunga. It crosses the Suiti cultural region, making the ride more than a link between two towns: rural scenery alternates with places that reveal the area’s history and living traditions.

The Kuldīga tourism office suggests Īvande Manor, Ēdole Castle and church, and Alsunga’s Livonian Order castle as possible stops. Experienced cyclists can plan their own variation by combining stretches of the P110 road with smaller historic Suiti roads. It is sensible to review the route map before setting out and choose a course that suits your experience.

In Alsunga, the ride can include another part of Suiti culture: sklandrausis, the region’s distinctive pastry. The Suiti cultural space, in which drone singing has a prominent place, was added to UNESCO’s intangible cultural heritage list in 2009. Allowing time for stops turns the 56 kilometres into a journey through a living cultural landscape, rather than a distance to complete as quickly as possible.
