The main dates for the 2027 UCI Cycling World Championships are 24 August to 5 September. The event in France’s Haute-Savoie continues the combined format launched in Glasgow in 2023. Organisers plan 20 World Championships, 288 titles and more than 15,000 participants within one programme.

The programme spans elite professionals and amateur competition. Alongside road and mountain biking are BMX, gravel, para-cycling, trials and indoor cycling disciplines. That offers spectators several sides of the sport within one trip, although competitions will be spread across different venues.

Track racing has a separate geography and an earlier start. The Junior, Elite and Para-cycling Track Championships collectively run from 16 August to 5 September at the Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines National Velodrome. It is in the Paris region, so accommodation in the Alps will not provide a common base for every discipline.

Road races are centred on Sallanches and Domancy, mountain biking on Les Gets, and BMX freestyle on Cluses. For a spectator trip, choose the discipline first, then its date and venue. The official competition calendar was updated on 23 September 2026; check its latest version before making reservations.
