Wheel size is the next guide. Hebie’s FIX 18 l, for example, serves 28–29-inch wheels, while ABSTELLHELD 40 comes in different lengths. Check the precise model code and adjustment range rather than relying on a similar appearance.
Matching hole spacing does not always settle compatibility. Frame geometry can obstruct installation; Hebie describes such a case involving a Haibike and FIX18. Before buying, establish the bicycle manufacturer’s requirements and whether that particular mount and stand work together.
Read load figures alongside the instructions. ABSTELLHELD 40’s stated 25 kg is not equivalent to total bicycle weight. This model must not be fitted to bicycles with child seats. Consider luggage and planned accessories too, and recheck stability after changing them.
