The Vosges’ Route des Crêtes combines a motorcycle ride with stops around Grand Ballon, Markstein and Hohneck. The Alsace tourism itinerary links Cernay with Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines. Grand Ballon’s summit reaches 1,424 metres; allow separate time to walk up to it.
