In Estonia’s Lahemaa National Park, the Võsu–Nõmmeveski trail covers 18 kilometres from the Võsu camping area to the canyon at Nõmmeveski. It follows an old forest path through Võhma village, where visitors can see traces of prehistoric settlement and the Tandemäe burial mounds.

This is a hiking trail on which most of the route can also be cycled. It is therefore better approached as a slow outing than as an uninterrupted cycleway: riders may need to push their bikes through more difficult spots. The gentler pace leaves more time for the forest and its places to stop.

Nõmmeveski has a camping and barbecue area at the end of the trail. The route is listed as open year-round, though it is sensible to check current conditions and prepare for the weather before setting out on a forest path.
