Ducati Corse is working on its 2026 and 2027 motorcycles simultaneously. Expanded Lenovo computing infrastructure lets engineers compare more engine and aerodynamic designs before the most promising ideas become physical components.
In 2027, MotoGP engine capacity will fall from 1,000 to 850 cc. Aerodynamics will face tighter limits, while ride-height and holeshot devices will be banned. The redesign therefore affects both the power source and the motorcycle’s interaction with the air.
